I remember my first trip in NGCW. I couldn't, for the life of me, find the button to raise the divider. I tried it manually a few times, and gave up when it simply fell back down; the guy sitting opposite kept glancing my way, wondering what on earth i was doing.
This resulted in an awkward period of time with us not looking at each other, until food was served and one of the cabin crew asked if we'd like the divider raised during our meal.
Its then that I saw where the buttons were

Soon after, i saw the instructions that told me where the buttons were
I still grimace when thinking back to that.
However, i'm sure others have had more embarrassing experiences on board (that they can share in a public forum)?
