I had a similar response at the Flamingo last week. I was told they DO upgrade Diamonds - so I was moved to the 27th floor (as opposed to my sister on 17). My room was a mile walk from the elevator. Same yucky bedspreads and sofa as my "no elite status" sister - but hey my bathroom was a foot and a half wider - I guess that's the "executive" part of it. No breakfast, no water, no coffepot. I think I'd get better service at the Hampton Inn.
