As a GOLD last Labor Day, I was expecting nothing, but was surprised. We checked in on the VIP line while the other lines were about an hour long even one hour after official check in time. We got upgraded to a renovated suite which also had a huge basket of all types of cheeses, candy, nuts and fruit. We got the free cont breakfast in the ballroom, but overslept and didn't use it. The ticket concierge was so nice, that when we bought tickets to a show, he told us about a ticket for money off in the Park Place booklet they give away. Room service was very classy for vegas. Maybe since we expected nothing and were polite and smiley, we got the top notch treatment. In faxt at check in, the clerk even gave us a choice of suites and the pros and cons of each. We asked him which he would stay in. A wonderful memorable stay even at a peak weekend.
