Thanks again for the help - I've talked to the conference organisers, and it seems that they've just decided (for unrelated reasons) to change it to Tuesday-Friday instead, so we now have the flexibility to stop overnight on the Sunday on the way out, which sounds like it should make our lives a bit easier.
