how very nice .....a trip to bhutan ....do let us havee an account of that trip.

re bangkok hotels ..if its an overnight trip there is really no point in staying in a hotel with all the trappings ...better off staying some where reasonable but nice ...eg the Pullman King power hotel ...[ i know , accor !!! ] - but slightly off the beaten track ...ie erawan area.

another hotel would be the Central World part of local chain centara hotels. that would put you right in the middle of all you need for the one day stopover.

peninsula is a no no

fourseasons ...nice public area but not mad about the rooms.

if you reallly insist on something " luxury " try out the Sukhothai - that is if you dont wanna leave the hotel at all !!!! or a nnice place to recover post bhutan

heard some good things about the new le meridien on suriwong road - but its not a suitable location for me.

have a great trip !
