If you are using an award, please note that I just wasted an hour on the phone with the nice folks at AA. I booked an award ticket from DCA to OSA a few days ago. I came home to a voicemail from AA asking me to call them. Very long story short, their deal with JAL does not permit them to issue tickets more than 60 days out for flights within Japan, although their agent 2 days ago was happy to book it for me.

Take this all with a large grain of salt, because if I call back I expect I would get a completely different wrong answer.
