I was told by the Westin in Pittsburgh a couple months ago that they were removing theirs as it is no longer part of the Westin brand standards.

And to top it all off the front desk supervisor told me that they had just installed them about a year or so ago!

It'd be nice that they just keep them in the room as an empty fridge that a customer can use ad hoc.
