I had "the chinese" meal (dinner) the other day, flying LH C from FRA to Beijing. Chopped beef with rice and some hot pepper sauce.

I have to say it was substandard. No real taste, boring looks, it came in a silver foil container and the sauce came in a separate foilpack like you get from McDonald's for ketchup.

FRA is LH's caterers LSG Skychefs homebase so better asian food should be possible on their very main trunk route to china's capital.

I'm still sort of shocked about the poor standard. I mean China is a nation of gourmets. LH will not win any single new chinese traveller's business with chinese food like that.

PS: The crew was polite and the overall flight experience was nice.
