I have an international itinerary where I applied for an upgrade and it was waitlisted but the SWU was taken from my account. When United implemented the schedule change, the upgrade cleared but the SWU is now showing as available. I assume they will just apply it when I take the flight. Anyone else seen something similar and were there any issues is utilizing the upgrade on the day of the flight?
