That could be it as i did indeed hit 150kEQM just recently. I just didnt think that they would have posted those extra SWUs earlier than when they posted the other 6 SWUs for 2010.
They definitely post the extra SWUs immediately. The first 6 come in January but anything above those 6 will post as soon as you earn them. The system probably put in the 2 new ones, and before you ever saw them you just used them. The system probably saw that the other SWUs you have would expire before the May Itin and left them alone so you can try to use them before they expire.
