How emanon256 went on later to talk about management, and I also responded to that post where I did talk about management, which was a best guess on my part. I could well be mistaken there and would welcome your insight. Perhaps you accidentally responded to the wrong post. TIA for the additional info.
I was referring to your comment on most hotels being "franchised"...it really depends on the brand, in some brands most hotels are managed however in others all but 1 is franchised
