SWU's redeemable on cheaper fares is the only benefit I am really looking for, and DL does not offer it. I am switching to AA starting 2010, DL blew it completely.
The YBM restriction wouldn't have been too taxing if they had not jacked up M and B fares. DL can still make this benefit usable of they extend it to H and maybe even Q fares and prioritise upgrade basd on the fare basis purchased. Now M costs more that the cost of B fare about 2 years ago.
I must admit that the PK465s and phantom upgrades spoiled us. I have seen
Golds expecting usable SWUs.

That sounds a bit unreasonable.
How usable are SWUs issued by AA and UA? I remeber reading on this forum that their SWUs can only be used on higher fares too.
