An alternate and quicker route back home would be to follow the Trans Canada Highway from PEI to Moncton, then Fredericton (okay... go visit the Beaverbrook Art Gallery to see the Dali, etc.), then Woodstock where you cross the border to Houlton, ME where you pick up I-95 at mile zero.
