There are only two hilton properties in PWM. One is the embassy where you are staying and the other is the hilton garden in.

I would definetly recomend the ES they do have an excellent restaurant.

If you do want to be down in the old port there are better hotels to stay at. I can give you a bunch of information since I'm from that area. Let me know. PM me.
