Don't forget that Huvafen Fushi and all the Per Aqum resorts are now under different management, so I would be careful.

O&O Reethi Rah is an extraordinary resort island with 12 private beaches and probably the most striking accommodation in the islands. The overwaters are beautiful and some have their own small floating plunge pools, but I prefer the on-land pool Villas which are huge and extremely comfortable - all with a big expanse of 'private' beachfront.

Service here is not as good as it was originally. FS Landaa probably has the best now.

The other resort to consider is Taj Exotica Maldives - small, but beautifully formed and with caring service.
