I agree it would be very helpful if MMB reliably gave the ticket status. I really can't see why the fact that "the booking belongs to the agent" prevent this, although I suppose it means the agent is still free to cancel the booking.
On occasions when I've needed a ticket re-issued (by BA) then looking for the "e-ticket receipt" in MMB really ought to tell me what the status is. However I usually find that when things get the slightest bit complicated (as when a ticket is re-issued), even if only BA is involved, then this part of MMB just falls over and dies.
