Our daughter is only going into 9th, but we believe in starting early. Her main requirement is it must be out of FL which sounds like yours. We have 2 others that are already out there in college so we've done it a couple times. She picked up the Course guide and is already thinking about them. As her school starts a 7:20 AM this year we also got Coffee cups from each bookstore at each college to get her out of bed and on the way to school.

In our case it will go back to her Major. Sadly she quickly ruled out UC Santa B as they did not have the Major she is looking at. On the other hand if it was Marine BIO, it would rock....
