ps - my ground experience back in 2002-2003 when I was flying R, was also quite pitiful. To the extent that I waited until T5 opened before I really did much flying on BA again, and my jury is still out on whether the lovely lounges can perhaps be accompanied by this mythical image of no queues clogging the FCC or going from lounge to aircraft without standing in a holding pen with 300+ people, followed perhaps (if it's your lucky day) by a bus that makes you long for the holding pen again...
