I can sympathize with your disappointment about the poor quality of BA's ground service for this flight, but I'm having a hard time seeing how that experience "spoiled" your F flight. Spoiled your departure experience, maybe, but I don't see anything in your description on this thread of how the quality of your in-flight experience (i.e. the "flight" part of your flight) was adversely affected.
