When at home, I train almost daily. Usually with a personal trainer. Unfortunately I now travel (seems like 95% of the time) and cannot get myself to train often when at hotels. Most of the hotels I stay at do not have gyms, but even those that do does not help much.

Some of this may be a repeat, but look at national chains (Ballys, Golds) for an annual membership that might be affordable. Also, if your trainer is not up to it (I would say that 75% of most personal trainers are totally useless but that is an Omini thread), find a trainer that can provide you body resistance exercises (planks, push ups, various stabilization routines). Also as posted, resistance bands give you the benefit of weights, which you cannot travel with for practical purposes (although I suppose lugging a 20 pound dumbell around in your carryon could work you out). Look for local places that you can run or walk.
As mentioned by another poster, either work out first thing in the morning or immediately after arriving back at the hotel. If you wait, you will end up at the hotel top floor happy hour instead. Believe me you see enough paxs trying to get a wide load in a small seat as a real motivation to continue your workouts on the road.
