But don't you still have to fork out Euros for fees etc even though its supposed to be a "free" award trip...? Looking at a break down of the flights you will see that the actual flight it self probably doesn't cost very much and that taxes and fees adds enormously compared to the actual flight cost.

I agree with the others that domestic (and even on some intra-Europe flights) I'd save my miles for something else, even IF I did have in excess of 900K miles
