I haven t encountered this myself, but think that Costco sells a steamer package similar... Might/might not be pre-cooked w/ butter & garlic-

Myself, we have razor clams (yes they are dead) cleaned and frozen in our freezer at home... (That we dug up ourselves)

We also can them in mason jars...
