Flight Network - be extra careful

In short they sold us a two-stop international flight ticket under a description of one-stop flight. All supporting documentation including an e-ticket showed exactly one stop. However the extra stop has always been there (not a last minute change of flight plan) and it included customs and immigration checks as well as switching from an international to a domestic flight.

Couple this with the fact that we were flying in an older relative who does not speak a word of English and does not travel much, and you will get the full picture of a perfect weekend.

Specifically, Moscow-Paris-Vancouver flight happened to have another stop in Montreal. The person traveling was basically under the assumption she had arrived in Vancouver, kept waiting for her luggage and missed her connecting flight.

To explain why this is Flight Network's fault, consider the information they provide for the returning flight:
Air Canada Flight 884
Departs: 8:50am Vancouver(YVR)
Arrives: 7:05am Paris(CDG)

Air France Flight 2044
Departs: 11:45am Paris(CDG)
Arrives: 5:20pm SVO(SVO)
That's it. From Vancouver straight to Paris in mere 15 hours. The same flight as seen on Travelocity:
22hrs 35min - 2 Stops
Stop in Montreal, PQ Canada (YUL)
Change planes in Paris, France (CDG)
I fly a lot and this is the grossest mishandling of important flight information that I have ever came across. If you are to use Flight Network's services, just make damn sure not to assume that what you are seeing on their website and in the electronic ticket is accurate and reliable.
