Another option in a significant delay situation is a refund.
If you thought the weekend was a loss, you could've just asked for a refund, gone home, and scrapped the trip.
Or if you mention to the GA that it's a short trip and it will no longer be worthwhile, you can sometimes get them to rebook you for the same trip at a later day (say next weekend, same flights).
You can write in and ask for some miles or voucher compensation, but other than that, looks like they took good care of you with the hotel and rebooking.
