Travelling YVR > YYZ yesterday and had in my possession 18 sweet buns in two boxes.
At security, I proffered to open the boxes for inspection, but after being told what they were, the agent said they'd just be x-rayed.
After an unfortunate incident involving rice pudding at YUL, I saved the CATSA list to my computer. There is no mention of rice pudding in the document, but cake is explicitly listed as acceptable.

Good luck!

I mean, in the insanity of security theatre is there ANY possible reason why it would be seized (besides hungry staffers looking for dessert)
