It doesn't help that you only found out about it after you got home. Not sure if your mobile works in the States, but if it does, you might try having EasyUpdate send you text (to your mobile), so you are aware that you have cleared...
Thanks for the good info. My mobile (cell

) does work in the USA, however I had a heck of time in the past getting Easy Update to take my mobile number so I gave up and settled on using the email address instead (groan)!
YES you are also probably correct re me clearing after check in. I checked in SYD time the day before (which was technically 2 days before the LAS flight in the USA) because it was a connection from SYD LAX LAS. I did ask at check in, in SYD if it had cleared and was also told no, but likely it will. Thats another issue with .bomb, because I check in SO early, due to timezones, it records my time on DM waitlist incorrectly, ie as 10pm day before, for a 12.45pm flight. It cant cope with the over 24 hr check in time. I have been screwed on this before too, ex JFK. When I say something to check in or GA they just look at me like I am nuts and say, thats the time you were put on DM and its correct

. I know for a fact its not correct but nothing I can do about it.
Can the LAX RCC ticket desk staff NOT see that I had cleared? They told me NO, too. I dont understand how their systems would not show the correct info, but I guess this is .bomb after all

.
Well, at least now, I will be more vigilant with this stuff

. It was a short flight, so not a big deal, but it would have been nice to use up the e500s and sit with my daughter.
