i agree. i have upgraded on two ps flights jfk-lax as a 1p and jfk-sfo as a 2p/3p (cant remember), while thats only two data points, combined with your 8, it seems like 1ks would always get upgraded because those 10 were from levels below 1k. my next ps flight is lax-jfk in december, so, as a 1k now, im not really worried about not getting the upgrade (granted it is 2 days after christmas, so we'll see). have any 1ks here ever not gotten an u/g on ps flights if they requested it?
