Holiday Inn Express Toronto refusing AC vouchers
After misconnecting got shuttled off to Holiday in Express Toronto Airport Area 5585 Ambler Drive
Upon arrival see the line up from the previous bus. Desk clerk is a bit of a scam artist as there were two calls from the airport asking where to get the shuttle. He neglected to mention that they weren't accepting vouchers until I prompted him. Also the shuttle driver saw the vouchers and made told us we were on the correct bus.
Checked in anyway and will be sending emails demanding compensation for costs $85 + taxes for hotel and aggravation AE miles to both AC and Holiday Inn.
There was a long lineup of others at the International/US -> domestic connection desk as they were laying down the law on the 30 minute minimum connect time for checked luggage. The 30 minute time ti took my luggage to get from the gate to the carosel in customs didn't help.
