I'm not saying I like it, but this is how I interpret their rules.
I've had cases where they were supposed to fly me to SJC, and we went to SFO instead for various reasons. They shuttled us down to SJC. Do you really think I could have gotten a refund for the flight since they didn't "fly" me to my destination airport?
