It's an art piece, so going to Home Depot at the destination won't work. The nails stick out of the wood (head up, not sharp side) to create an image. It won't look like a bomb or anything like that, just some nails hammered into wood to form the outline of an animal.

I know we have some TSA folks on this board - is there an official prohibition on nails? I may just take it off the presentation board and put it in a checked bag. I'd rather not, though because I am connecting and it would be a disaster if the presentation misconnects. UPS and FedEx are not reliable enough - I'd rather have the comfort of actually carrying this thing through.
