Thanks to the FT members who answered my question, I especially appreciated the information about the TSA inspection in MIA.

Because we use only carry-on luggage, the reminder about TSA inspection in MIA was especially helpful. We won't buy any wine at the SCL duty free shop. Does anyone else feel there is something illogical about being allowed to carry a liter of wine on the flight from SCL to MIA, but not on the flight from MIA to ORD.
