Thank you RichardInSF and LapLap... Do you know if all rooms on the club floor in Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa were recently renovated? They has a club floor double internet promotion for $18000 yen on their site. Price already include all taxes except accommodation tax. Is the hotel is too far from Shinagawa station? I read reviews from tripadvisor saying that is it pretty tiring walking uphill back to the hotel.... The Strings friend and family special is $18833 + 200 yen for accommondation tax. This is a very good price also but the only down side is I will have to pay at time of booking and money is non-refundable. I was thinking about Hotel Pacific Tokyo but I decided not to after I remembered my "stifling and stuffy" stay at the hotel as you cannot adjustment the temperature either. Anymore suggestion?
