Need good advice from the experts constructing my first MR! Will be going to Italy for 2 weeks at the end of August (27,28 or 29) starting from my city MDZ, SCL or EZE and arriving to PSA, FCO, MXP or any other european airport if there is a good deal.
Not many MR options departing Argentina but what I've got so far is:
AA (airline of preference): MDZ-SCL-DFW-JFK-FCO/FRA-DFW-SCL-MDZ $1510 - around 20000 miles and Platinum status with AA challenge-100% EQM-RDM
UA: EZE-IAD-ZRH-IAD-EZE $ 970 around 19000 miles - 100% EQM-RDM
Better suggestions? @:-)
Can I add more segments (in the US) to the AA fare without increasing the prize to make the mileage accrual more tempting vs the UA cheap fare?
