There are plenty of award seats on United. You can buy 60K miles for 2000$ (you need 65K). However, USAir has a promo to get 100% bonus and they ask for 60K for a ticket to China. So you would need 780$ to buy 60K miles. They can make you a reservation and hold it for 3 days without pulling the miles from the account. There will be extra fees with a short notice for award trvel, but the total price will be less than 2000$. If you have no Dividend Miles account, you can create one, call and make a reservation and then once all is sure purchase the miles.
