I actually thought that "Eating Out 2: Sloppy Seconds" was a lot better. I thought that the characters were given much funnier lines. Plus I love Brett Chuckerman (who plays Ryan Carnes's character in this film). His fist film "Crush" was another good gay film, although it was kind of too much in an after-school special format. I saw an interview with either the director or producer (maybe he was both) of the Eating Out series. He said that if he did a third, he would call it "Eating Out 3: Menage et Tw*t". Gotta love that! At least in concept .

Some other good films:

Sommersturm (German)
Europa, Europa (German). Has gay parts, but not really gay themed.
A Touch of Pink (British)
Wild Reeds (French)
My Forgotten Soldier (Dutch). I think that's the English title of it. I'll give the director a lot of credit for taking on such a taboo subject.

And although it's not a film or movie, the German channel Das Erste has a evening series called "Verbotene Liebe". And one of the story lines includes this gay character couple 'Christian and Oliver'. Their story lines are somewhat predictable. But if you didn't know any better, you'd think that these two were actually in love with each other in real life. The physical scenes between these two are like none other that I have seen on TV. Plus, they're both really hot, especially Christian (Thore Schoelemann).Definitely nothing like "Will and Grace". So they get a ^^!
