My recommendation to use AirAsia did not apply to international transfers. I usually spend time in BKK before heading to CM. I've found they rarely hassle farangs about excess luggage (I'm talking about being a few pounds over, not having 5 pieces of luggage to check in!. I"m always amazed by the amount of luggage some people bring with them on their trips overseas. You'd think they where heading to some remote area where they can't buy a bottle of shampoo LOL.)
