I made a huge error in booking a for me and my wife flight from Phoenix to Copenhagen in August. I booked last December on Orbitz and need some advice. Orbitz site says you can select seats if you use Orbitz. Not quite. I got sets on the United legs but not the overseas segments which are on SAS flights booked through codeshare United. I called Orbitz-no help. Called United-no help. Called SAS and was told I have to select seats at check in but agent could not tell me when check in was (start of flight from Phoenix or when connecting flight leaves Washington DC) also didn't know if it could be booked online and when. So I booked a flight 8 months ago and have no seats for the overseas portion there and back. Ask me if I will ever use Orbitz again. Anyway, any clue how to get seat assigments and when and how?
