Called for the Garden Inn, Roseville, CA. This weekend the best rate is $89. The highest rate is $109. The VISA promo rate is $154!!! What kind of scam is this? The $154 rate is not even the rack rate. It is a made up rate for the promo. This is even worse than the old days of using Mileage Plus half price coupons. I have stayed at this hotel recently for the Entertainment rate of $65 but I had to call the hotel direct to get it. I wish they would save their energy on these promos. Anyone else finding the same problem?

To add insult to injury, there is a glitch in their computer and it will not allow me access to my account. This has been going on for a week. Cris Martinez of [email protected] "helped" me with my account and now I can't get to it. I am getting seriously crotchety these days. Probably need a vacation!
