Sorry folks but I cannot agree with you if there is a genuine reason to believe that there is a chance a member of the group has contracted this or any other highly contagius disease it is in the best interest of the airline to resheduale such a flight.

This flu if you catch the real stuff comes round like a boomerang and you sure as hell don't want to be in the air on a long distance trans ocean flight with the chance of the not only the passengers developing it but also the flight crew.

Over and above that many countries may deny the flight landing or quarentine the whole damm plane on arrival....... Now you tell me what is cheaper to have the pax wait and resheduale a flight while the test is done or make a sick person fly. Now what about the reprocussions of making soemone fly who then passes it on to other pax some of whom may actual DIE as a result. Even if the legal liabity may be debatable the public relations disaster and image damage could cost a whole lot more than the already mentioned resheduale.
