UA varies in my limited experience. Initiated one transfer on Apr 19, had points on 5/3. One phone call, 2 weeks -- sweet. Initiated another on 8/1, still haven't gotten the points. Called back to make sure they had the right info. Yes. And like you, the MILES were deducted immediately. Variation based on work load? Staff on vacation? Sun spots? Who knows.

Had a CO transfer take 7 weeks.

Delta, FWIW, tends to be fastest. They send you a coupon (automated) and you mail it to HH. They deposit immediately, so it only takes about two weeks, and would seem to do so consistently. Not that that helps you any.
