I stay at a hilton about 3-5 days a week. I also have stayed at almost every property in the states.

We are usually only allowed 10hr turns at night so i couldn't care less what room I end up in.

yet when I do use my points i expect something better than normal. I pretty much live in a hilton. It's sad I know.

I'll be headed to swenden and france next week on a points trip. I'll let you know my experience.

By the way my wife and I are also in our early twenties. I usually get less service when I'm in uniform because they thing I'm a normal airline guy not paying for the room. It couldn't be farther from the truth.
