My husband is a HHDiamond member who stays at Hiltons on average twice per week.

I travel with him frequently on business and really enjoy those diamond perks...
However, lately those perks are turning into pains. It's like pulling teeth to get upgrades to nicer rooms ("they are all booked" is the common line which sounds hokey to me with this economy).
We've even been lied to about the availability of nicer rooms.

Is anyone else experiencing this? It really ruins any nice experience you could have there when you are treated poorly from the get-go.
