Obviously I'm new here and I've never bothered to research the topic. Is there some scientific evidence that there really is such a thing as an allergy to ... what ... airborne peanuts? What if I promise to stop throwing them at my fellow passengers?

OK, sorry for the lame humor, but it is a serious question. Can you suffer an allergic reaction from being in the same room as a nut?
