Right, however, because it's not written on the boarding pass, AA agents wouldn't have any reason to let me, for example, board with Priority Access. I have to take the step to explain to them that actually I am trying to get my miles on AA, that I am a OW elite, and could they please allow me to board at this time, etc. Since the responses vary so considerably among AA agents (some tell me that I am not elite without Priority Access written on the card, some tell me that they're happy to have me fly AA and welcome aboard), I posed the original question
