I really like SOTP. I had a terrific Platinum upgrade to a very nice suite, and had lovely services from everyone there. Their lounge (and the lounge food) is very good too (much better than an average lounge).
I wasn't happy with Westin's complaints handling, so I have stuck with SOTP ever since.
This is why I'm having such a dilemma decided where to stay this fall. I'm going to redeem for 5 nights so trying both isn't an option. When I read about the SOTP, I decide I should stay there. When I read about the Westin, I decide I should stay there. I suppose that's a good dilemma to have. I'll just have to suck it up and make a decision and book it.
