We did a tour of United SFO maintenance a year ago, and there was a 737 there and the workers were .....ing it was going to be there for 1 month, the wing fuel tank was leaking, and they were saying its not a bad enough leak to fix?????? I was ...? They said the tanks OFTEN leak.
Anyhow I guess United solved the problem they are going to send all the 737's to the scrap heap, or try to sell them.
LH and NZ still fly 737-3 and 5's maybe they will buy them
