We'll be in Riviera Maya for a week and I'd like to know if I can get access to email in my room. The resort has a "cyber cafe" but nothing in-room.

I found a provider called RivieraMayaOnline that advertises access for $35/week but there is very little info on their site. Their is a web form for information but it defaults to dates in 2007 so I am not too optimistic about them.

Are there any pre-paid cellular data options? I have phones I can tether so if there is a provider that sells SIMs with reasonable data rates that would work for me.
