HELP - BA is denying I can use an MCO voucher oncodeshare flights

I got a MCO voucher from BA for Denied Boarding in March. I asked the exact question "Could I use the voucher on code-share flights?", before I agreed to take the voucher and was told I could use it on ANY One World airline with a code number of a BA flight. I was specifically told that it need not be a BA plane but any BA coded flight.

Now BA is saying it must be a BA plane not a codeshare! Can BA just change the rules they operate under? IS there a higher authority I can lodge a complaint with? How should I handle this? HELP

I booked the flight (5 or 6 phone calls and a fax to confirm the MCO), mailed the MCO, and now BA back-office in Tokyo claims that BA cannot allow codeshare flights for this MCO booking as it only endorsed for British Airways flights only. And the Back Office states that codeshare flights operated by other airlines are also not permitted.

I was told at Heathrow that a British Airways flight does NOT mean British Airways metal; it also means ANY flight codeshared with a BA code.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can fight this with BA?
