Front row leg room is quite good - there's definitely enough room to cross your legs comfortably, and my favourite part, to get up if you're in a window seat, and get out without really disturbing your neighbour - I'd say there's maybe 50cm of space. If you want to stretch your legs out straight then maybe not for you but for most people they're the best seats on board.

On some other airlines they're best avoided but not on BA.
