Which FFP to get the most out of my trip?

Hi there,

I am currently a regular AAdvantage member (not elite) and will be taking the following trip soon, all on BA through LHR --

DEL - CDG - CPH - IAD // SFO - DEL

DEL - CDG - CPH is in T or Y booking classes, while CPH - IAD and the return to DEL are in S, V, and Q (with the transatlantic segments in V and Q).

I know that I will not get credit at all on AA for my BA transatlantic flights, and since that would mean not getting anything for the majority of this itinerary, I was wondering whether I should join BA's program (or some other -- I read about Alaska Airlines' program here, for example).

In general I fly CX or BA when traveling longhaul (which is usually to/from the U.S.), although occasionally on AA as well.

Thanks in advance, and let me know if I need to clarify anything at all.
